A
link page
(or
bio-links, links-in-bio, linkpage)
is a web page that contains a list of links that the site owner deems worth mentioning.
Facebook, Twitter, Istagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Tumblr, Snapchat, TikTok, Vk, Whatsapp, Telegram, Badoo, WeChat, websites, blogs, mailing lists, email ...
The pervasiveness of Internet has led many of the Internet users to have multiple accounts, multiple profiles and social pages, different chats, websites, blogs, email addresses.
What if we wanted to let our social contacts know how much we are on the Internet?
On social networks like Facebook
and
Twitter
there are no problems. In the settings we can add as many links as we want. On other social networks no! This in particular on
Instagram, social media in great shape and very used for e-commerce.
On Instagram
you can add only
one link
to a site, to another social network or to a chat.
The problem was solved in 2016 by two Australian brothers who had an idea as simple as brilliant: a website that allows you to easily create a
single page
(landing page) that lists all the links we want. By entering the url of this page on Instagram or wherever we want, whoever clicks on this link will be able to see all our social networks.
This web page can also be used as your own site.
After having tested Linktree, the first and most famous site that allows you to create biolinks, I wanted to try others.
In a few hours of research I found at least 150 sites that should offer this service.
I've tested about twenty of them focusing on their free versions
(I don't think it's worth paying for the paid
versions unless you have commercial interests).
